The Final Fantasy series has always mixed fantasy and science fiction in beautiful lands and plots, often dealing with adult issues such as redemption, madness, obsession and honour to name a few. It has also bridged the gap between Japanese Roleplaying Games and their Western equivalents and no more so than with this outing.
