Battlefield Begun

I have just started my play through Battlefield Bad Company, and have been very pleasantly surprised.

Having been sorely disappointed with the recent warzone based shooter offerings (Fuel of War - I'm looking at you) my hopes were not high.

However, not only does it have excellent music, but also excellent voice acting and writing. Some of the best recently actually, which gives the game a brilliant movie like feel.

AND on top of all that. The graphics are pimp as fuck.

So, I’m looking forward to playing some more.

Check back for the full review soon. Unless it gets even more betterer, then it will perhaps be later...

This is brilliant! You know the bit at the start when you have to pick up the repair tool. I didn't bother and walked about for half an hour shooting the s**t out of foliage, like a one-man deforestation machine.

Reminded me of the bit in Predator when they fire the chain guns into the bush and pretty much level a small forest.

The dialogue is so sharp too!
