Website advertises Wii Fit for £50 - Fri 12th Dec article image

Buyitplayit.com has broken the recent market trend by advertising the elusive Wii Fit at a knock-down price of £50. The site will be selling the balance board and game from 1pm on Friday 12th December - THAT'S TOMORROW!!

Most places are selling the game and board for anything between £70 and £150, but you can't find it for love nor money!

The 'Freaky Friday' promotion is probably going to sell out within minutes, so be prepared! Get on early to avoid disappointment!

Hmmm... that makes it sound like you actually have a chance of getting on... well, you never know! Go for it!! We garuntee you won't find it cheaper!

Apparently there are fifty boards going for grabs at the discount rate. As CVG says, let's hope it IS fifty and not five...

Fallout 3 DLC is The Bomb article image

Bethesda has hinted at what could be in store for Fallout 3 in terms of downloadable content. The developer sat down with IGN to discuss the future of the post-apocalyptic adventure.

The team's lead producer Jeff Gardiner had no problem spilling the beans on the three upcoming DLC packs. The first pack, Operation: Anchorage has you fighting through a Chinese base while inside a computer simulation. Come January, it can be yours for 800 MS points.

Operation: Anchorage will include "Covert Ops" and will supposedly take somewhere between four and five hours to complete. If you do purchase the quest pack, you'll be able to access it at any time via a quest-marker on your in-game map.

Sleigh boring outfits with the Santa sack-boy article image

The other day we told you about the Street Fighter-themed sackboy costumes that'll be available to buy for your LittleBigPlanet dude/dudette any day now. Sony has unveiled a new costume pack: the two-part santa suit for your little sackboy/sackgirl to keep warm over the festive season.

Stage one will get you the Santa suit; the hat and beard will follow-on next week (December 18th). Get downloading though--it'll disappear from the PS Store come January 8th! You don't want to miss out!

Could this be the start of a chain of festive freebies from Sony? Will we get pumpkin heads for Halloween? Shades and Bermuda shorts in the summer?

What other costumes would you like to see?

Home sweet home article image

Yesterday, Sony finally announced that the open beta for its social networking service will be ready from today. PlayStation Home has been described as a 'ground-breaking 3D social gaming community' that allows users to interact with each other and communicate via their on-screen avatars.

Unlike the excruciatingly basic Nintendo Mii avatars and the cartoony stylings of Microsoft's NXE avatars, the PS3 service allows you to customize a realistic digital persona using the Home tools.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) announced the open beta will be fitted out with Ubisoft's themed Far Cry 2 Home space. If that doesn't suit you there's Unchartered, Warhawk, MotorStorm and SOCOM themes on the way.

Hadouken-and-Divin' article image

Sony has confirmed that Sackboy and Sackgirl will be getting some kick-ass new threads this week, in the way of the Street Fighter collection. The US PlayStation blog reports that the LittleBigPlanet outfits will let you dress up your Sack Person as legendary fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, Guile and Zangief.

Each costume is priced at $1.99, or you can get the lot for $5.99. We dont know how much they'll be in Europe yet, but you can expect them to be sold for about £1.50 each or £4.50 for all four.

It might be worth your time checking back with the blog tomorrow - there's hints of a new LittleBigPlanet collection being unveiled. Will they be as good as the Kill Zone, Solid Snake and Sephiroth costumes that have already been doing the rounds?
