Hi gamers! Features Editor Dave here standing in for our regular Editor Josh while he enjoys the sun on holiday. No I'm not jealous, I'm happy for him honest!

Anyway, welcome to the first in a long line of editorial shout outs, where we, the SquareGo team, will announce what's in store each month, reply to some of your comments and generally talk about cool gaming things we've found for you to take a look at online.

So without further stalling, let's get going!

-Bargain Bin Season Two Incoming-

Today marks a bit of a milestone here at SquareGo towers, as the first season of our insanely popular budget game series Bargain/Bin draws to a close. As our way of saying thanks to all of the followers of Phil and Brian's adventures into dreg-ville, we have compiled series one in its entirety in the Bargain/Bin Archives, which is on the hompage for you to check out now.

If you haven't checked this out yet, it's well worth the chuckle. Our test subjects, sorry make that intrepid bargain hunters, Phil and Brian have to do a bit of shopping, find three games for under a fiver each and determine whether they are 'bargain' or 'bin'.

They've found some pretty neat hidden gems and a fair share of howlers along the way. Found a game for under a fiver you want our boys to feature in season two and beyond? Get involved by dropping us suggestions in the comment box.

Bargain/Bin Season Two will start very shortly, much sooner than you think so keep your eyes peeled!

-Our Free Games Portal Goes Live-

Not content with saving you cash in Bargain/Bin, we have also compiled every one of our free game reviews in The SquareGo Free Games Portal to make it easier for you to check them out and play. We've even embedded some direct links for you to hop in and get playing straight away.

We have some absolute crackers here, from the blood-soaked zombie blaster More Rooms, the mental dinosaur hit and run antics of Off-Road Velociraptor Safari, to the insane anime stylings of bike-em-up Nanaca Crash.

Go forth intrepid gamer and delve deep into the bowels of free gaming. Just make sure you don't get too addicted. We lost an intern in there once and didn't see him again for five days.

-For the Love of Turns Nasty-

While we're all about free speech here at SquareGo, we realised that our nostalgic celebration of the video games of yester-year 'For the Love of...' was a bit one-sided. So thanks to a recent editorial meeting, we've decided to give the series am evil baby brother in the form of 'For the Hate of..'. that will be launching with an in-depth look at why one of our writers absolutely despised the Super Mario Bros series.

But before this new series launches, we can happily announce that 'For the Love of...' will also be getting the compilation treatment. That's right, very soon you will be able to read back across all of our retro features in one place. Aren't we generous?

-SquareGo 2.0 On the Horizon-

Finally, we can happily report that the whole of SquareGo will undergo a complete transformation as our flashy new site nears completion. It's still a while away, but we want to hear from you on how we can make our site better, because after all, you are the ones reading it at the end of the day :) So don't be a stranger, get in touch and give us your suggestions in the comment box, we'll do our best to respond to everyone.

Thanks, have fun reading our site, we'll have more editorial banter soon. Onwards and upwards!

Dave
