Red makes green via yellow, but what goes with orange; and really, how is off eggshell any different from white? Okay, we admit: colour theory has always confused us. We were never really sure what it was. As such, we were a bit cautious of Colorous. After all, the basis of the game is in colour theory.

Final Fantasy XIII by Phil Harris | 19-03-10

The Final Fantasy series has always mixed fantasy and science fiction in beautiful land and plots, often dealing with adult issues such as redemption, madness, obsession and honour to name a few. It has also bridged the gap between Japanese Roleplaying Games and their Western equivalents and no more so than with this outing.

It was only a matter of time before indie developers exploited the Bod-like avatars that greet Xbox users when they power up their machines. Although a handful of downloadable games have tried - most notably the ambitious online quiz show 100-to-1, many lack the inventiveness of an initial idea that Microsoft seemed to have photocopied wholesale from the Wii.

Thumpies uses the iPhones touch screen controller, and it's main premise and gameplay centres around rhythm. It certainly is different, with a unique style and entertaining sound effects it is certainly different and may not appeal to everyone.
