Review

Ostensibly, Sean Devlin is an Irish mechanic turned race-car driver turned text-book reluctant hero. He just sounds like Robin Atkin Downes doing a shoddy impression of an Irishman: Which is no coincidence, since that's exactly what he is. Literally Resistance Retribution's main character with a different accent.

The over-the-top approach to the voice acting carries on through to the story and action in the game, although it flips between "serious" and action movie set pieces as often as Sean lights up (which is any time he can).

IL2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey by Graeme Strachan | 21-09-09

While next generation consoles are able to run almost any kind of game going, there's a conspicuous lack of Flight Sims out there. It could be the case that they tend to be the game of choice for PC gamers who have a full keyboard and a joystick at hand, or simply the fact that the attempts to created them have always turned out more like arcade shoot-em-ups; such as the Blazing Angels series.
