Keeping a series fresh whilst still satisfying your core fans always becomes tricky and the furry and robot ones last adventure The Quest for Booty was an average encounter bringing little new to the series (bar plot) and being far too short. It seems that we've been waiting an age for more action and A Crack in Time really needed to give the whole series a boost.
